Miso & Maple Baked Salmon

Tender salmon fillets baked with a savory miso-maple glaze, garnished with fresh spring onions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp light miso paste
  • 1/2 tbsp dark miso paste
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp roasted sesame oil
  • 2 spring onions
  • salt and pepper

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl add: 1 tablespoon of light miso paste, 1/2 a tablespoon of dark miso paste, 1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup, 1/2 tablespoon of roasted sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and salt and pepper (if you wish). I also added 2 diced spring onions into the mixture (optional). Mix well. Add 4 salmon fillets in the bowl and mix with the marinade.
  2. Let it marinate for at-least an hour in the fridge.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking dish and bake for 25 minutes at 180 degrees celsius.
