Oat & Mandarin Slice

Ingredients

  • 1.5 tbsp chia seeds
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup mandarin (keep juices)
  • 1.5 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1.5 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl add: 1.5 tablespoons of chia seeds, 4 tablespoons of water, 1/2 cup of chopped mandarins (keep juices and pour into mixing bowl), 1.5 tablespoons of maple syrup, 1 tablespoon of shredded coconut, 1.5 cups of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of almond meal, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
  • Mix and pour into lined baking dish and bake for 20 minutes at 150 degrees celsius.

Notes

Note: slice when warm. If you slice when it cools down it may crumble 🙂
